Course Reflection

 I have learned a lot through my participation in CIS 1020. I have been able to review and learn new techniques in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This knowledge will help me as I continue with my education at the Salt Lake Community College. At the start of the semester I believed this class would be helpful in teaching me how to use different tools associated with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The area where I have developed my computer skills the most has been throughout the PowerPoint section of this course. I was able to learn how to properly embed sound and video into presentations, use animation timing tools, and format art from the web into custom backgrounds. I have been able to use this knowledge to not only complete assignments for the course, but in other courses as well. Overall, this class has enhanced my computer abilities. I have been able to apply what I have learned in my daily life and hope to continue to progress and learn new computer skills to enhance my work and assignments in the future!
