Short Term Goal
I want to go to Italy after Senior graduation of July 2012. It will cost me about $2,500 for my plane ticket, hotels, eating expenses, and souvenirs. I would like to save up enough money for the trip by June 2012. My friend and her parents are going with me and said they would pay for my hotels. This would cut some of my costs, but for just an estimation, in order to do this I will have to save up $150 per month for the next 17 months.
Long Term Goal
When I am older I want to serve and LDS church mission with my husband. I would estimate serving a mission to be about $20,000. If I want to go on a mission with my husband by the time I am at least 60 years old (about 43 yrs. from now) I would have to save about $40 per month. My husband would also help to pay for our mission which cut the cost of what I have to save up.
